Founded
in 1948 by Fred Danby, Danby's Service Stations have grown,
renovated and kept up with the times,
growing along with the City of Meriden, to continually meet the needs of
its customers and the community.
Besides its
reputation as a provider of quality auto repairs and service, Danby's
prides itself in its community
involvement. Danby's has gained
recognition as a supporter of youth athletics from South Meriden Little
League to the Meriden Soccer Club. Danby's is also involved in
Kuhn Employment Opportunities, a not-for profit agency that provides
employment for individuals with special needs.
Danby's believes
that customers can come to any of its service stations and be comforted
with the knowledge that Danby's gives its best to its customers and the
community every day.

Danby’s has grown into a unique group of service stations
that provides a variety of products
and services for automobiles. Our stations sell unleaded and
diesel fuel, propane, kerosene and natural gas. Danby's is affiliated with AAA
emergency road service and towing and has been certified as an AAA
approved for auto repairs for its members. All of Danby's technicians are
ASE
certified and trained to repair any automobile from an '81 Chevette to a
a 2000 Accord.
In celebration of Danby's 50th
Anniversary in 1998, a collection of Danby's memories and best moments
was created from photos taken throughout the years.
